The service
The OneTex operator provides structured academic-document editing, cloud storage, and optional authoritative PDF compilation. Browser previews are approximations; authors remain responsible for reviewing final source, citations, rights, and submission requirements.
Accounts and paid access
Local editing and browser preview are free. Portable source, project bundles, cloud writes, and authoritative PDF output require an active Pro entitlement. The introductory purchase costs US$3.99 and provides seven days of Pro access. You must provide accurate account information and keep sign-in links private. Paid features may be rate-limited to protect service reliability.
Subscriptions
After the seven-day paid introduction, Pro renews at the selected rate: US$12.99 per month or US$129.90 per year. The annual price is two monthly payments less than US$155.88. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless local law requires otherwise.
Refunds
The operator must publish the applicable refund and cooling-off policy before accepting paid production traffic.
Your content
You retain ownership of your documents and grant OneTex only the rights needed to store, process, compile, and return them. You must have permission to upload included text and figures.
Electronic signatures
OneTex accepts external PDF files, places one or more user-selected visual signatures, and applies a cryptographic PDF platform seal using the PAdES B-B profile, an X.509 certificate, SHA-256, and an incremental PDF revision. The visual mark records the user's signing intent; the platform certificate proves that OneTex sealed that revision and detects later changes. It does not independently prove government identity and is not a qualified electronic signature, notarisation, or trusted timestamp. A completed PDF can be downloaded, independently checked in compatible PDF software, or shared through a revocable unlisted viewer. When an existing signed PDF can be safely extended, OneTex appends rather than rewriting earlier signed bytes; users must still revalidate every signature after download. You remain responsible for legal suitability and signer authority.
Format conversion
Server conversion is limited to validated OneTex block documents exported as PDF, DOCX, LaTeX, or a project ZIP. Layout and feature fidelity can vary between formats, so you must review every converted file before relying on it. OneTex does not reverse-convert completed signed PDFs into editable source.
Acceptable use
Do not use raw LaTeX or uploads to probe infrastructure, execute code, distribute malware, infringe rights, or disrupt other users. Access may be suspended for abuse.
Availability and liability
The service is provided without a guarantee that every package, template, or institutional requirement is supported. Keep exported copies of important work.
Operator and contact
The legal entity and service address have not yet been published. A support address must be published before commercial launch.
Governing law
